Our inaugural offerings will be the Oratoria Press Horror Anthology in 2027 run by the literary journal, followed by two forthcoming titles in 2027 and 2028.

We will open to manuscript submissions for 2028 soon

POV - The Oratoria Press Horror Anthology

The Oratoria Press Horror Anthology will be the inaugural publication from the press with a Fall 2027 release, in collaboration with Oratoria Magazine.Theme:
Point of View
The theme of the anthology is POV.We are looking for speculative, creepy, uncanny, uncomfortable, dark horror stories. You can be inspired by real life, magic, science, folklore, politics, gothic history, psychology, mythology, sexuality, race, religion, rituals, curses, witches and wizards, slashers, the cosmos, or any old genre from the corners of literary creativity.There is just one requirement: the story needs to be told from a unique POV.Think of a story told by the pet of the family, or from the POV of the haunted building downtown, or from the eyes of a painting hanging in a museum, POV of the neighbour, the Dean of the school, the janitor of the school, the basketball hoop of the school, the road that leads to Dracula’s castle, the oldest tree in the forest, the hull of the spaceship, the flagpole of the movement. You get the point.At the end of the day, it’s not just the plot, so we will also be looking for strong voices and demonstrable skill with the craft.
